Norman Northâs pom squads didnât let the COVID-19 pandemic keep them from ending their season with at least a top five finish in all the categories they entered at a national competition earlier this month.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, Norman Public Schools has prohibited athletic teams from traveling out of state. After talks with students, parents and coaches, the Norman North pom squads collectively decide to travel to Orlando, Florida to compete as âNorth All Star Pomâ at nationals.

Foot patrols spring up in cities across US to ease fears after surge in attacks
The dozen Asian Americans walked together on a bustling street in Flushing. They wore neon orange vests, black jackets and body cameras and carried walkie-talkies.
Some residents in the heavily Asian borough of Queens waved to them from across the street. Some honked their car horns, while others said thank you when the team - whose members wear a bright-yellow logo labeled Public Safety Patrol - walked by.

Amid the worst outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, social media is abuzz with wild claims as to how to keep the virus away. One such claim is that steam inhalation can kill coronavirus.
One such viral post that is doing rounds on the internet says, If you want to stay safe and kill the coronavirus, which could be hiding inside your nose, then you should start taking steam which will reach to your nose and kill the virus. At 50 degrees celsius, the coronavirus becomes disabled. At 60 degrees celsius, the virus becomes weak, and at 70-degree celsius, the virus dies completely.

TEAM has dropped its takeover bid for the AIM-listed Tavistock
TEAM has withdrawn its takeover bid for fellow AIM-listed firm Tavistock Investments after a shareholder and board alliance representing more than 50% of voting rights rallied around the firm.
In an announcement dated 20 April 2021, the board of TEAM stated it had not been able to fully engage with the board of Tavistock and was no longer proceeding with its possible offer. As a consequence, the board of TEAM believes that other growth and acquisition opportunities are more compelling at this time and in the best interest of its shareholders to pursue, it said.
